Club clothing for the racers

Cambridge Canoe Club clothing is now available from Godfrey Sports. This is orientated towards racing (black with yellow hoop are our official racing colours), but really it's suitable for anyone with a preference for the more traditional type of club kit. A more freestyle-orientated line of club clothing is also being developed that might suit some people better. Contact courses@cambridgecanoeclub.org.uk if you want more information on that. If you want more information on what is available from Godfrey Sports, contact competition@cambridgecanoeclub.org.uk.
In general it is cheaper to order items 2 or more at a time from Godfrey rather than singly. All this is detailed on their web site (http://www.godfrey.co.uk/clubproductbrowse.php?page=1&selcat=505) - download the clubs price list to see. So I would recommend getting together to place orders in groups of 2 or 3. See you on the water in black and yellow.

Two kayaks for sale

Riot Trickster
Classic river-running playboat for sale. When it came out, it would have been considered a playboat; nowadays it's more like a playful river runner - and a true classic, designed by Corran Addison. Well worn, with lots of scratches, but structurally sound with plenty of life left. Fitted with Mega hip pads for more control and a tighter fit - and the original Bomber Gear backrest. Comes with a pair of small airbags and a Riot neoprene spraydeck. This kayak is great for surfing, and can be fitted with two fins - which are not included. Note that only a "Riot-size" spraydeck will fit this boat.

Liquid Logic Skip
This little playboat is brilliant for the lighter paddler. It's in good condition, with lots of small scratches from normal use, but nothing serious. This is a fairly early example, so the outfitting is a bit basic, but perfectly comfy - and it's incredibly light. I am near the upper limit of both height (175 cm) and weight for this boat - and probably over the weight limit now! If you're a bit smaller and are looking for a boat to throw around and learn playboating, this is a great choice. It is quite unforgiving on moving water, but great fun...

Reason for both sales: I find I'm not really using these boats enough to justify keeping them lying around. And I'd prefer to see them being paddled regularly!
