Occasional guests are very welcome at Cambridge Canoe Club. All guests must be signed up by a member in advance, and a fee of £5.00 paid for temporary affiliation to club for the day they are visiting. This provides the required insurance to use club facilities and equipment.
To sign up your guest, please ask them to read this document and ensure they are happy to make the guest-paddler declaration (you will have to confirm this explicitly on the sign-up form.

Members are asked to note the following rules on bringing guests to the club:
- Only paid up adult members of the club are permitted to sign in guests (max 2 guests per member).
- By signing in a guest it is expected that you will take full responsibility for your guest and any damages to club facilities or equipment that may be caused by them
- If your guest is less than 18 years of age then they are considered by law to be a child. You must therefore have permission of the parents before permitting your guest to make use of the club facilities or equipment.
- Any guest under the age of 18 years must be made aware of the CCC Junior Code of Conduct.
- Guests can be signed in on a maximum of three occasions. If your guest wishes to use the club on more than three occasions then it is expected that they will become a club member
